Lavario Compact Clothes Washer
Pros:
Has higher capacity - can handle a blanket but not a bed spread / thick blanket, washes (with your effort) and is light weight.
Can use as hamper, freeing up hamper space (especially great in RV).
Avoid nasty laundromats.
Cons:
Terribly exaggerated claims by the manufacturer
Consumes 20 gallons of water per load (which allows for a better wash, but inappropriate for RV use / to save freshwater)
The lid should snap in place, but comes loose (should not have to fight the little metal pin that hurts your fingers)
The tray and basket warp (due to being too thin) when lifted out such that you can't turn the lid
The handle is uncomfortable (not ergonomic) and captures debris in the air which can fall in the washer
The dirty water splashes out on your clean clothes you are wearing or on floor which defeats the purpose (you can feel the splash drops on your legs if you wear shorts),
The drain is extremely amateurish for a washer flaunted as revolutionary and innovative: Since it's cheap plastic, it mis-threads/jams and is extremely cumbersome to deal with. I replaced it with a standard 1/2" threaded male/male adapter and 1/2" threaded stronger plastic valve (available at most hardware stores) so I don't have to unscrew and screw the cheap plastic cumbersome cap.
Takes up a lot of space in an RV. For the price should be carbon fiber or aluminum which would allow the elimination of the space hog lip on top.
Does not spin dry. Compression drying with try ineffective; must use spin dryer to avoid very long hang dry time.
